WHO I AM
I’m Vonchell Lewis, LCSW — a therapist, mindfulness practitioner, and advocate for whole-person healing.
My Clinical Foundation:
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, performance stress, and identity development. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in evidence-based practice.
I integrate modalities such as cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness-based interventions, and strengths-oriented frameworks to support meaningful, measurable growth. I view therapy as a collaborative process. You are the expert on your lived experience — my role is to help you access clarity, insight, and tools that foster stability and empowerment.
My Holistic Approach:
In addition to psychotherapy, I incorporate mindfulness and meditative practices to support nervous system regulation and intentional awareness. Yoga, breathwork, and present-moment grounding are not separate from clinical work — they are complementary pathways to healing. The mind and body are deeply interconnected. When we slow down, breathe intentionally, and tune inward, we create space for transformation.
Outside of the Therapy Room:
Outside of my clinical work, I am first and foremost a military spouse, mom, daughter, sister, and friend. These roles ground me, stretch me, and continually deepen my empathy. They remind me that resilience is not theoretical — it is lived in everyday moments of love, transition, sacrifice, and growth. Originally from Orlando, Florida, I carry a deep appreciation for sunshine, warm weather, and the simple joy of gathering with family and friends. Connection is central to who I am. Whether sharing a meal, celebrating milestones, or navigating life’s challenges together, I value relationships that are rooted in authenticity and care.
With the world made up of beautiful cultures, landscapes, and people, I enjoy traveling and experiencing new environments. Exposure to diverse perspectives has enriched both my personal worldview and my clinical lens. It reinforces my belief that healing is not one-size-fits-all — it is shaped by identity, culture, context, and lived experience.
